On the weekend of Friday 24th - Sunday 26th April, a dozen venues around Masham are alive with music of all sorts to listen to and play in. With further performances in the weeks surrounding this weekend, Masham is the place to be for a celebration of all types of music in all types of places!
The highlight, and the inspiration for the festival, is a concert at Masham Town Hall by Lindisfarne, a band on their 50th anniversary tour and with longstanding Masham connections from their earliest days. Other performances and activities at Masham pubs, hotels, churches and community venues are listed below.
Friday 24th April
Swinton Park: JEN STEVENS (vocals / keyboard) at 7.00pm
A jazz pianist singer / songwriter from the North East, Jen has been compared to Kate Bush, Tori Amos and Regina Spektor. Tuck into Northern European inspired dishes in the restaurant, brave the elements on the terrace, or opt for try a cocktail in the bar, while enjoying an evening of live music. Free entry.
